St. Charles County Missouri Democrats

Chris Mayes moved to St. Charles in 2001 and became active in local politics during the Kerry/Edwards campaign.  In addition to serving as the St. Charles Democratic Alliance secretary since 2004, she also serves as the Committeewoman for the Zumbehl Township on the St. Charles County Democratic Central Committee and as Committeewoman for the 23rd Senatorial District on the Missouri State Democratic Committee.  She is a member of the St. Charles Democratic Club and supports the Missouri Women's Coalition.  She is married and has two children, 19 and 14.  Her daughter, Madeline, attends St. Charles Community College and is active with the campus Democratic club there.  Her son, Ethan, attends middle school. Ms. Mayes is an attorney practicing in the public sector.
