Is Mark Parkinson as Silly as the Legislation He Introduces?

Representative Mark Parkinson                                                                                                                                                             Mr. Silly Himself►

Just why did the voters send Mark Parkinson to the Mo House of Representatives?  We're sure it was not to bring embarrassment to his district.  We're sure it was not to waste taxpayer funds on frivolous bills.  We're sure it was not to ACT SILLY .  But even Parkinson himself acknowledges that it was a silly thing to do.

SCC Central Committee Chair Tommy Roberts spars with the Repub leader in St Louis County on KMOX

On Friday January 15th Central Committee Chair Tommy Roberts had a lively debate with the leader of the Republican Party in St. Louis County. You can hear it for yourself at the following link:

http://www.kmox.com/topic/play_window.php?audioType=Episode&audioId=4318864

Tommy lets them know that the Republicans better do a better job this year than they did in 2008. He affirms what we all know, that St Charles County is important for statewide candidates and they better be worried because if we turn out like we did last the last election that Carnahan and Montee are winners. He also let them know that we're not afraid to work hard and work for what we believe in.

(UPDATED)

Cynthia Davis, who will be term-limited out of her Missouri House seat next year, will try to stay in Jefferson City by unseating state Sen. Scott Rupp in the Republican primary next August.

The outspoken Davis, who has gained nationwide attention for some of her comments, said in an interview today that she’s “a true conservative” and that “people are sick and tired of cardboard candidates.”

“I guess the best way to describe this race is I’m more like Sarah Palin and he’s more like John McCain,” Davis said, referring to the 2008 GOP national ticket.

Why We are Democrats

“The true Democrat is he who with purely nonviolent means defends his liberty and, therefore, his country's and ultimately that of the whole of mankind”
Mahatma Gandhi quotes (Indian Philosopher, internationally esteemed for his doctrine of nonviolent protest, 1869-1948)
