Due to the holiday weekend, the monthly Central Commitee Meeting has been resceduled to July 9th.  Same time, same location.  

Join your fellow Dems at the O'Fallon Freedom & Heritage Fest Parade on the 4th of July.  We'll start the decorating around 7am and the parade begins at 9:30am.  See our upcoming list on the left for more details.  Be sure to call to confirm you're coming.

Due to the excessive heat predicted for Saturday June 27th the Central Committee monthly BBQ at Frontier IGA has been cancelled..................Please join us on July 25th and Aug 15th for the next BBQ's and let's hope for better weather then.

...But the winner, State Representative Cynthia Davis of Missouri. When she first won this award hands down on Monday we told you that Miss Davis had had attached a series of what she called commentaries to a report on the state's meal program for underprivileged kids while school was out for the summer, insisting that these meals should be curtailed.

In her June newsletter, State Rep. Cynthia Davis (R-MO) provided several “commentaries” to a press release from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services on a summer food program.

The 27th Annual First Capitol Day on Friday. June 12th was a huge success.  St. Charles County was graced by the presence of three statewide leaders, State Treasurer Clint Zweifel, Governor Jay Nixon, and Secretary of State Robin Carnahan.   Each one spoke and gave the overflow crowd at Trigg an overview of their work in Jefferson City since the election. The annual James C Kirkpatrick Award for service to the Democratic Party was given to Central Committee Chairman, Tommy Roberts.  He was very surprised and for a very short time he was speechless.  But after a time to recover from the news he was able to give introduction to various guests from outside of St.

Robin Carnahan will be the next Senator for the State of Missouri after the November 2010 election.  Come hear her on June 12th  There will be some tickets available at the door.
