Monthly Central Committee Meeting for July 2nd is moved to July 9th

Due to the holiday weekend, the monthly Central Commitee Meeting has been resceduled to July 9th.  Same time, same location.

Due to the excessive heat predicted for Saturday June 27th the Central Committee monthly BBQ at Frontier IGA has been cancelled..................Please join us on July 25th and Aug 15th for the next BBQ's and let's hope for better weather then.

When she first won this award hands down on Monday we told you that Miss Davis had had attached a series of what she called commentaries to a report on the state's meal program for underprivileged kids while school was out for the summer, insisting that these meals should be curtailed.

First Capitol Day is Huge Success

The 27th Annual First Capitol Day on Friday. June 12th was a huge success.  St. Charles County was graced by the presence of three statewide leaders, State Treasurer Clint Zweifel, Governor Jay Nixon, and Secretary of State Robin Carnahan.   Each one spoke and gave the overflow crowd at Trigg an overview of their work in Jefferson City since the election. The annual James C Kirkpatrick Award for service to the Democratic Party was given to Central Committee Chairman, Tommy Roberts.  He was very surprised and for a very short time he was speechless.  But after a time to recover from the news he was able to give introduction to various guests from outside of St.
